My childhood pedal tractor had seen better days. After rescuing it from the scrapper, a fairly simple restoration began, starting with full disassembly, research what replacement parts were needed, and correct paint colors.
These days, the tractor enjoys days at car shows where any kid who asks can climb on and ride it. Once in a while, it wins a prize, but nothing is more gratifying when the real contribution is attending a benefit show for a greater cause - in this case, we were in support of Zach’s Legacy Foundation, a childhood cancer fund for northern Colorado.
