1947 LaRay Power Cycle

The LaRay Power Cycle was produced for a few short years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1946 to 1948. Experts suggest that only 2,500 bikes were produced and believe that less than 50 exist.

This barn find was discovered as a rolling chassis in Western Kansas. With some research, a bit of elbow grease, and a budget, it runs under its own power.

Another surprise occurred, when a rare, red LaRay velocipede came up for sale, and was acquired to round out this collection. Although there were some condition issues from repair work, it is a fine specimen to display alongside its motored sibling.
