I was fortunate to acquire my dad’s Whizzer motorbike that he bought new as a high school junior in 1947. The goal for this project was to restore the bike as close to and as period-correct as possible to the condition he experienced upon purchase.
The bike enjoys the occasional vintage car and bike show, as well as weekend rides. It has gained attention in numerous magazines, a calendar, an invite to display at the Morgan Adams Concours d’Elegance and most recently featured in season 1, episode 10 of Discovery Channel’s “Sticker Shock”.
